We are looking for an ambitious, metrics-driven strategic sales leader who is seeking to scale a sales team and drive revenue. As the Head of Strategic Account Executives, you will advocate for your team while working to support our broader mission. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with managing account executives deemed responsible for selling solutions to existing accounts at the enterprise level across a wide range of verticals, while exceeding growth expectations year over year.. You will work closely with our VP of Sales and other team members. You should be wildly ambitious, talented and passionate in all that you do; you should live to sell, and love to evangelise disruptive technology products you believe in.. Ultimately, you should take ownership and responsibility for hitting key activity, prospecting and closing sales. Be your own CEO, own your business, be empowered and win!. Responsibilities. Build, hire, and develop a team of high performing strategic account executives via guidance, industry and sales training focused on quantitative results.. Drive our strategic sales strategy, taking initiative to implement best practices and programs that will enable our team to achieve and surpass quotas.. Maintain high level of pipeline, funnel and CRM discipline by including accurate forecasting around revenue, meeting activity, opportunity value and close/won dates.. Drive annual planning process across strategic sales including business modeling, territory planning, compensation design, in close partnership with business development, operations, finance and other cross-functional leadership.. Build scalable and repeatable processes for the strategic sales team.. Maintain impeccable strategic sales data quality in our CRM for tracking leads and opportunities, generating regular reports and forecasts for the CEO and our Board.. Develop a growing, talented salesforce through the creation of a strategic sales training program to quickly ramp new folks while maintaining a high level of sales acumen for new products.. Work closely with other members of the executive team to ensure alignment across company goals. Excel at cross-functional collaboration and serve as a true business partner.. Requirements. 8+ years managing and growing a successful sales team within existing customer base.. Experience establishing a successful and scalable strategic sales organization in a startup environment.. Passion for developing and mentoring strategic sales talent.. Strong understanding of SaaS or subscription business models.. Natural results-oriented leader with inherent personal drive; ability to navigate ambiguity, operate effectively in a hyper-growth, start-up environment, and motivate a team of high performing individuals.. Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate compelling value propositions of our products.. Previous growth stage company experience is desirable..
